Kawai K-15 — Ultra‑Responsive Action & Spruce Resonance

The Kawai K-15 is a compact, solid instrument, particularly suited for beginners and home use. The soundboard is made from solid spruce with an even grain, carefully selected, asymmetrically arched and inspected — for balanced resonance behavior and a clear tone.

The proven Ultra-Responsive action combines stability, precision and durability. The hammer heads are made from 100% premium wool. To make the action resistant to climatic fluctuations, the action rail and hammer return rail were constructed from aluminum. Other precision parts are made from robust ABS Styran to minimize friction and increase reliability.

The notch construction of the K-series is carried out as a stable glued-laminated wood construction, which gives the overall structure additional strength and dimensional stability.

A piano bench and a piano lamp are included in the delivery. A 5-year manufacturer’s warranty is provided. Delivery is carried out free of charge nationwide by specialized piano transport and includes carrying to the floors.
