Kawai K-600 AS — concert-class 134 cm with Sostenuto

This Kawai K-600 AS presents itself as a full-fledged concert piano in a compact case height. With a height of 134 cm and a soundboard area of around 1.53 m², it offers an impressive sound volume, supported by a robust construction with a full-perimeter cast iron frame and twelve ribs.

The action is based on the proven Millennium-III mechanism with an extended keyboard range. The 88 keys feature NEOTEX coverings; the hammers have mahogany cores and double-felted hammer heads for a balanced response. Equipment includes a Sostenuto middle pedal (three pedals in total).

Construction details and user comfort: maximum string length approx. 1280 mm, solid spruce soundboard, 2‑fold duplex scale, agraffes for notes 1–51, six lid positions and a 100 cm wide music desk. The key slip is fitted with metal brackets for stability; the keyframe and action table are reinforced, additionally double castors and a slow-closing fallboard are integrated. Lock present.
