Nordiska 116 — Upright with Nordiska action and spruce soundboard

This new Nordiska 116 upright is built around a 1,786 sq.in solid spruce soundboard with ten pre‑crowned spruce ribs to enhance tonal projection and sustain.
The instrument is fitted with Nordiska action and Nordiska hammers, paired with a 19‑ply Dehonit Red Beech pinblock and a #1 bass string measuring 46" for robust low end.
Structural details include back posts made from high‑quality spruce and a solid European beech bridge and cap, hand‑planed to ensure accurate downbearing on the soundboard.
A sand‑cast full perimeter plate provides stability, while the laminated spruce and hardwood keybed supports keys crafted from solid spruce, each individually weighted for even touch and response.
The piano features three solid brass pedals, including a center practice (mute) pedal, and is finished in a durable high‑gloss polyester.
