The Sauter Cosmo 116 represents a new generation of sound in a clear, functional design language. Its generously sized soundboard delivers an impressive tonal volume; the characteristic SAUTER spherical curvature of the soundboard guarantees a balanced tonal image. The tonewood used, mountain spruce, combines stability with the elasticity needed for a wide tonal spectrum.
The keyboard responds precisely and offers high playability — ideal for musicians who value a light touch. Additional tonal fullness is provided by the enlarged hammer head, which supports the instrument’s playing characteristics in harmonious balance.
Technically, the model relies on a modern steel-frame construction in the seating area, which reliably prevents distortion of the keybed. Equipment includes a moderator (muting pedal), chrome fittings and a silver strip on the lock rail. The instrument is fitted with 88 keys and finished in elegant black.
