The Yamaha B3E is the most expressive piano in the B series, offering a full, clear and rich sound. The instrument is 121 cm high; the soundboard is made of solid spruce, and the rear part of the cabinet features five structural ribs that enhance resonance and give the sound depth.

The B3E model is based on the construction of the Japanese U1 — it uses the same strings and a very similar frame and bridges, thus combining traditional solutions with precise workmanship. Its classic appearance, solid keyboard supports and elegant details make the piano a perfect fit for interiors. The B3E is fitted with casters to facilitate moving the instrument.
