Built in Japan in 2023, this Yamaha SU7 SH3 Silent is the flagship handcrafted upright from Yamaha’s SU series.

Standing 131 cm tall, the SU7 is designed as a professional instrument and offers a level of tonal refinement, control and dynamic range beyond standard uprights.

Owned by a single private owner and kept in a domestic setting, the piano is in immaculate condition both cosmetically and mechanically.

Sonically the SU7 delivers considerable depth and a well-defined, powerful bass. The registers are well balanced, with a treble that pairs clarity and a delicate sparkle. The overall sound is rounded and expressive, providing subtler tonal colours than many production uprights.
