This Yamaha U1 TA2 combines the natural sound of an acoustic piano with modern TransAcoustic technology: the instrument allows adjustment of the sound level, offers a mute function and permits playing with headphones. The U1 model in question is based on the respected U series and has been further developed in tone and construction. Improvements include a slow-closing fallboard, a revised scale, a reinforced soundboard and frame, and newly designed hammer heads.
