Yamaha U1D 121 cm — high-gloss black, warm tone

This Yamaha U1D upright piano model dates from around the early 1960s and is known for its warm, mellow tonal character. This particular instrument has been fully restored: both the action and the interior were thoroughly serviced and the case received a new high-gloss polyester lacquer. The key coverings have been replaced and the soundboard has been refinished, leaving the interior practically in like-new condition.

Originally the U1D model was delivered with two pedals; during our overhauls we routinely add the third (moderator) pedal, visible in the curves of the top lid. The piano has 88 keys and a tidy black finish. We provide a 10-year warranty on all our refurbished instruments.
