Reconditioned Yamaha U1D — moderator pedal & action

This Yamaha U1D upright has been fully professionally reconditioned. Models from the 1959–1965 series are known for their slightly softer, warm tone; this example follows that signature. The U1D originally had two pedals; in our restorations we consistently add the third (moderator) pedal — recognizable by the rounded shape of the top lid. Both action and cabinet have been thoroughly overhauled: the case has been repainted in polyester high gloss, the keytops have been replaced and the soundboard received a new coat of lacquer. The interior is likewise in like-new condition. We provide a 10-year warranty on these fully reconditioned instruments.
