Positioned at the pinnacle of Yamaha’s highly regarded b Series, the b3 offers a substantial step up in performance and refinement over the smaller b1 and b2 models. Benefiting from many of the same core components found in the renowned Japanese-built Yamaha U1—including its hammers and frame—the b3 delivers exceptional musical performance while maintaining outstanding value for money.
Standing at 121cm tall and housed in an elegant traditional cabinet, the b3 is capable of producing a rich, resonant tone with impressive balance and projection. Longer keysticks than those found in the b1 and b2 models provide a more responsive and nuanced touch, allowing for greater control and expressive playing across a wide dynamic range.
This example is equipped with Yamaha’s SG2 Silent System, enabling the piano to be enjoyed both as a traditional acoustic instrument and as a silent digital piano through headphones.
