Yamaha YUS1 TransAcoustic TA2 – acoustic piano with an integrated Silent system (SH2) and TransAcoustic technology.
This instrument combines the tonal quality of the YUS1 with modern electronics: in acoustic mode it plays like a traditional piano, and the volume can additionally be regulated electronically. In Silent/headphone mode (Silent SH2) you can mute the piano and, via headphones, enjoy high-quality concert grand samples (e.g. Yamaha CFX, Bösendorfer Imperial).
The TransAcoustic function (TA2) converts digital audio signals into vibrations for the soundboard so that the sound is projected across the entire instrument — ideal if you want the spatial resonance of an acoustic grand piano without increasing the volume.
