C. Bechstein A 182 – restored grand piano, 185 cm

I am offering a carefully restored C. Bechstein A 182 grand piano for sale.
Serial number: 117716. Year of construction according to the documents: 1921; a certificate from the Bechstein company dated 1922 is also available.
Dimensions: length 185 cm, width 140 cm. Appearance: black, high gloss; the case shows hardly any signs of use. Keyboard: 85 keys (historic ivory coverings are documented by a certificate). Equipment: 2 pedals.
The grand is in well-maintained, playable condition. It was in the family for over 90 years (purchased by the grandfather in Magdeburg); in 2004 it received a new lacquer finish by a specialist firm. Since 2003 the instrument has been kept in an apartment in an older building in Wuppertal with high ceilings and a room temperature of no more than 21 °C.
The instrument can be transported without difficulty by a professional carrier. Collection from Wuppertal-Elberfeld must be organized by the buyer; a local carrier can be recommended.
