Steinway & Sons, model O-180 – “Nocturne Noir” edition
The Nocturne Noir finish combines deep-black elegance with a balanced, versatile tonal character – an instrument demanding both visually and acoustically.

Condition and work performed:
This instrument was lovingly restored in a complete overhaul in 2025. During the refurbishment we placed great emphasis on high-quality materials and careful handcrafting so that the grand piano remains ready to play for many decades.
Finish & design:
The surface has been repainted in premium black. The cast-iron plate and the pedals are finished in black; casters, markings on the cast plate and on the fallboard have been kept in silver. Bass strings and agraffes also show silver accents – no gold or brass tones.
Action & strings:
All wear parts have been renewed: new strings and tuning pins of the highest quality, new hammer heads and shanks, new bushings and action levers. The voicing/intonation is set to “medium”, making the instrument well suited both for Romantic repertoire and for jazz.
Equipment:
88 keys
3 pedals (middle pedal = Sostenuto / single-note sustaining pedal)
Touch & sound:
The grand offers a very pleasant touch and the typical, beautiful Steinway tonal colors. With a medium voicing it is excellent both for ambitious amateur pianists and for professional users on smaller stages.

A trial is possible in our shop in the centre of Jena. We look forward to welcoming you by appointment.

Payment & delivery:
You may pay on delivery directly to the carrier, without extra charge. On request we can provide a financing offer. The sale is carried out by the master piano builder with corresponding recommendation.
Included in the price:
Delivery within Germany including floors (provided no special difficulties such as a crane are required). For Austria and the Benelux countries an additional charge of EUR 100.00 applies.
Taxes & warranty:
Price incl. VAT, however not itemisable (margin scheme). Includes 5 years warranty according to the following conditions.

The warranty relates to the functional condition of the purchased item. Damage caused by improper handling or inadequate maintenance is excluded.
