THIS INSTRUMENT IS SOLD
This is very rare Steinway grand piano with an all original Welte green reproduction system. It is built in 1925. This player system is highly regarded and performs like the original pianist is sitting behind your piano. It has a separate pump cabinet, all original parts, including the electric motor.
The grand piano has a model O frame. Because of the Welte system built-in, it is 207 cm long. A model O without player system is 180 cm long.
The case and pump cabinet have been newly french polished. Frame reguilded, soundboard shimmed and new Bolduc pinblock installed. New Heller bass strings and Roslau steel strings.
Restoration of the Welte green player system will start soon. When finished it will be a true gem, worthy of being in a museum!
