Yamaha C7X – 227 cm grand piano

A design conceived to create harmony between instrument and performer: the Yamaha C7X inherits the elegance of the CF series, with clean lines and simplified details for a refined appearance. The legs are carefully shaped and the pedal assembly is solid, allowing the pianist to apply maximum pedal intensity with complete confidence.

The white keys are made of Ivorite®, which reproduces the look and feel of natural ivory, while the black keys use natural ebony for a superior tactile sensation and response.

The rear frame, thicker than previous designs, provides greater structural support and contributes to a richer, more stable resonance, especially during very powerful passages. The soundboard also benefits from the same gluing and assembly techniques used for the CFX models, with construction designed to improve projection and responsiveness.

The steel used for the strings promotes sustain and a harmonic complexity appreciated in the mid and high registers, while the hammers, based on the CFX series and calibrated for the dimensions of the C7X, use high-quality felts to ensure an expressive and articulated tonal colouring.
