C. Bechstein Balance 116 — Sculptural Upright Design

Distinctive flowing contours define the C. Bechstein Balance 116, with lines that merge into a refined, sculptural cabinet. The design omits separate consoles or legs, creating a lightweight visual effect while maintaining solid stability thanks to its metal plate reinforcement.
Low-relief detailing separates each cabinet segment; the grip for the top panel and the fallboard are recessed and neatly integrated into the case. These subtle design choices emphasise both form and function without disrupting the piano’s clean silhouette.
