Description
Beautiful Mehlin inverted grand piano (27") from 1905, fully refurbished and offering a deep, warm tonal character. After a professional renovation the instrument plays very well and presents in overall excellent condition.
A recent inspection by a qualified piano technician confirms the results of the refurbishment; the technician’s written report can be made available to serious buyers on request. Note that the middle pedal is currently not functioning and should be treated as a mechanical fault.
When the piano arrived it showed a crack at the base. Our tuner verified that the crack does not compromise playability, but it does require additional care during transport and handling. There are also minor surface scratches on the right side caused by contact with a couch; these are purely cosmetic.
Aside from the nonworking middle pedal and the small blemishes noted above, the instrument looks and sounds attractively after restoration. I can deliver to most locations west of the Rockies; delivery charges vary by destination and the buyer is responsible for arranging unloading at the drop-off address.
