Description
The Steinway & Sons K-132 combines compact dimensions with sonic presence: a piano concept for those who do not want to give up the sound of a grand but have less space. The touch is very balanced and allows for differentiated playing down to the finest nuances; the voicing offers a surprisingly wide range and impressive fullness.
The soundboard, wrest plank and bridges of this instrument were made from selected woods, which contributes significantly to the typical Steinway tonal character. The action is sensitively regulated and responds quickly — ideal for fatigue-free practice and expressive interpretations.
High-quality key coverings provide a secure grip even during longer playing sessions. From the ambitious advanced student to the professional standard, the K-132 is a versatile instrument suitable for a wide variety of musical styles.
The appearance is impressive as well: artfully turned consoles, shiny brass casters and the ornamental pierced decoration in the upper frame backed with red cloth give the piano its distinctive character.
As with all our new and used acoustic uprights and grands, this Steinway & Sons K-132 model comes with a five-year warranty. Used instruments are thoroughly inspected and, if necessary, restored in our modern workshop by dedicated piano makers. No instrument is released for sale without the comprehensive inspection by our master piano builder Thomas Kreisel. A final check before delivery is a matter of course.
