Steinway & Sons K-132 — restored with a warm, full tone

The period from around 1880 to 1935 is often regarded as the Golden Age of piano making, when craftsmanship met demand.

This instrument is a striking example: a Steinway & Sons K-132 from 1906, in excellent condition. The piano has a warm, full tone that responds richly and pleasantly in both the low and high registers.

The upper panel features fine woodcarving that allows the sound to pass through; the back of this panel is finished with thin black felt. The casework is graceful and leans toward a subtle French style. The black polish lacquer gives the instrument an authentic, classical appearance.

The Steinway has been professionally restored, with the character of the instrument carefully preserved. The result exceeds expectations and offers a natural, full tone that approaches grand-piano quality.
